Newborn Baby Photography

We have everything you need for the newborn session and all you have to bring is the baby! Between props, hats, headbands, wraps, outfits, background and furs, we have everything covered.
Schedule at least 1 month in advance and receive a complimentary, custom sewn newborn hat with your little one's name embroidered on it!
The newborn session fee depends on what all we do at the session, whether it's baby only, how many other siblings in the photos, etc. It is typically $75 to $150, which includes your booking appointment, studio time and my time in taking the photos, as well as any props, wraps, backgrouds, etc. This does not apply toward your order.
Packages for digital images range from $375 to $600 and details can be found here. (Of course we also do albums, framed wall portraits, etc. Please ask for pricing details.)

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY NEWBORN PHOTO SESSION?
I can book up a month or so in advance (especially during the busy times (late summer, fall, and around holidays). Please call to book your session while you are still pregnant (about 2 months before your due date). I only book one newborn session a day, so I have limited availability. When you call, we will guess on a date and get that on the calendar. Once baby arrives, we will confirm that time or move the session date/time as necessary.
IF YOUR BABY HAS ALREADY ARRIVED, call ASAP to check our schedule. I may be able to squeeze you in.
Schedule at least a month in advance, and receive a complimentary custom hat with your newborn's name on it.
WHAT AGE IS BEST TO PHOTOGRAPH MY NEWBORN BABY?
I love to photograph babies within the first 2 weeks of birth. That's when the magic can happen. They are tiny, still wrinkly, and haven't figured out they're born yet (so they're not to active). At 3 weeks, it can get really difficult to get those cute poses, but still doable so please call if this is you! Of course if you have an early delivery or if there are any complications, we can accommodate.
HOW LONG WILL THE SESSION LAST?
A typical newborn session can last 2 hours.
DO YOU HAVE PROPS?
I provide everything we need for the newborn session. You can also bring a special blanket, heirloom piece or other items that are near and dear to you. These are the details we discuss in depth during the consultation.
