Who and why "happy chick"?

Hi there! This is your photographer, Christy, aka the "Happy Chick". I thought I'd reach out so you all know a little bit more about me. After all, you want to be able to know and trust the person who will capture those photos you'll treasure for a lifetime, right??

I'm incredibly passionate about photography and have been a portrait photographer since 2004.

I get asked all the time how I got the name Happy Chick, and it's simple! I was climbing the corporate ladder and not liking it much, and knew that if I could quit my job and do photography for a living, that I would be a Happy Chick! And that I am!!

When I'm not behind a camera, you'll most likely find me in my garden, or on an outdoors adventure with my husband and dog.
